O Cosmedics Immortal Cream VS O Cosmedics Comfort Cream

O Cosmedics Immortal Cream VS O Cosmedics Comfort Cream

There is no doubt that both O Cosmedics Immortal Cream and O Cosmedics Comfort Cream are both amazing moisturisers but is there an actual difference? what is the difference? and which is more suitable for your skin?

First Look at O Cosmedics Immortal Cream

From first look at the Immortal Cream it looks like the clear winner since it boasts as the bestselling O Cosmedics moisturiser, it uses the patented V8 peptide active ingredients and is a water-based cream so is bound to be a nice light feeling cream. Offering an array of lipids (oils) that offer visually benefial results including rich butters which are great to visibly hydrate the top layer of your skin. With antioxidants such as vitamin C, D-Alpha Tocopherol. Using the highest quality humectants, Hyaluronic acid to visibly moisturise your skin at the lower levels. The O Cosmedic Immortal Cream seems like a clear winner, but is it for everyone?

First Look At O Cosmedics Comfort Cream

The underdog, O Cosmedics Comfort cream offers the same patented V8 peptide active. Similarly to the Immortal Cream it is also a water-based moisturiser so will be very light on your skin. Comfort Cream appears to have less pure lipids (oils) but offers more esters which are a processed form of lipids. Esters offer great hydration but are lighter than oils so wont leave your skin feeling oils. Comfort Cream still has the super-rich Shea butter in the skincare. They have also removed some of the anti-oxidants but it appears to have a lot more hydrolyzed proteins which make your skin visually smoother. It contains Poly unsaturated EFA's which are oils your body cant produce natural and needs to be obtained from food or skincare, the fact that they are poly unsaturated means they are more readily available for your skin and will have your skin glowing.

So Which Moisturiser Is Better?

Basically, there is no clear winner. While both offer amazing quality ingredients, they are approximately the same price with only $7 difference and are both Australian made. The main way to choose is for you or a skin therapist trained in O Cosmedics to decide which your skin will benefit from most. The O Cosmedics Comfort Cream would be great for slightly older and dryer skin types such as 40+ Caucasian women. This moisturiser would most likely be too oily for mens skin or younger skin types and ethnic skin types who are generally oilier. While the O Cosmedics Immortal cream would be suitable for the oilier skin types, men and younger skin.
