GLYCOLIC ACID
Glycolic acid helps to separate the connections between keratinocytes (skin cells) in the outer layers of skin, dissolving the intercellular glue that holds together our top layer of dead skin cells to reveal fresh, new skin cells and kick start the cellular regeneration process.

Within the AHA family glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size which means it will penetrate the deepest into the skin to stimulate the production of type 1 collagen, helping to minimise the appearance of lines and wrinkles, boost volume within the skin and help to regenerate and soften the appearance of scar tissue. The glycosaminoglycans within the dermis are also stimulated through the usage of glycolic acid, helping to increase the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid protein resulting in a well hydrated complexion.

Glycolic acid is often hailed as the all-round acid - perfect for customers who want to target ageing, scarring, photo damaged and blemish concerns.

KOREAN CLOVER EXTRACT
Sleep Glycolic is infused with Korean Clover Extract to get the skin’s natural defending functions normalising overnight. Naturally, the skin works to protect itself during the day, and repair itself at night, however daily external factors such as blue light, stress & jet lag can disrupt the skin’s natural rhythm, leading to a reduction in hydration, an impaired barrier function and detoxification processes decline. This can lead to DNA damage, signs of fatigue and a dull skin.

Korean Clover Extract works alongside the glycolic acid by playing a supporting role in regenerating the natural overnight repair and hydration processes within the skin.

Skin protection and repair mechanisms are on track resulting in a brighter, healthier skin.

After cleansing in the evening, smooth a pea sized-amount of Sleep Glycolic across the face, neck and décolletage.

Follow with other serums, vitamin A and moisturiser.

Use 2-3 times a week.

We do not recommend the use of leave-on acids during 12 Weeks to WOW, to allow the skin barrier time to heal between frequent peels. However, Sleep Glycolic is a great option for use during the 6-8 week breaks between 12 Weeks to WOW courses, to help maintain results.

If you are having less frequent peels (eg. every 3 months), then Sleep Glycolic is ideal to use in between peels to maintain and optimise results.
