ETHYLATED L_ASCORBIC ACID (30%)

Ethylated ascorbic acid has a molecular structure close to pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid), but it has an extra carbon chain that blocks the most reactive part of the molecule. This means that ethylated ascorbic acid has none of the stability issues of pure vitamin C. The extra chain stops it from becoming oxidised and turning yellow, but the molecule still retains almost all of the antioxidant power of ascorbic acid.
